The "out of service" signs have been removed and there are ad-hoc payment instructions for every charger. They even mention the EVSEIDs, this is useful for anyone using a roaming app.
There's no clarification on whether this is for customers only, or for anyone.
In the app, every charger is now called "Bad Eptingen 2x50kW und 4x22kW", which is not very helpful to know whether you selected the correct connector. If you only have the app, you are basically required to scan the QR code or you won't know which one to select.
The order indicated with the QR codes appear to be correct based on my test. CH*ECUE55EJPCE3YPP69H6CXQUEW2AQ3S is the first CCS on the left, CH*ECUEVUM3KT2CMQQ5F8U7546D5FVXS3 is the second one on the right.
I first tried the leftmost CCS charger but I got "communication error" during the handshake. I then tried the second CCS charger and it worked. The last successful session on the left charger in the live data appears to be back on 2026-03-28. The few session afterwards are all a few minutes long only, suggesting issues.
I took an even closer look in front, I saw no sign of the old Tesla destination chargers.
