Visited on October 26 and did a short charge with Swisscharge RFID.
When launching Google Maps directly from the Swisscharge app, it took me to the wrong side of the building. You need to enter Schulhausstrasse and then it's on the left. If you turn too early on Dorfstrasse you end up on a lower level where there are no parking spaces.
There's no signage for parking or charging. Since this is called "Schulhaus Freimettigen" I assume this belongs to the town, but it's not really clear. You might be able to park 3 cars here, but there are no lines.
I'm not sure since when the charger is in service exactly. It's been listed on IchTankeStrom since 2025-08-08 but has always shown out of service. After the Swisscharge migration on 2025-10-01 it has shown unknown status in roaming apps. It might have been working since 2025-10-13, the first time I recorded an "available" status.
I don't see any session in my logs, and there has probably been none, because the MID counter was still showing 0.0kWh lifetime.
I first tried charging with Swisscharge RFID, then Swisscharge app, but without success. Then when I put the cable back on the charger, the vibration caused the other end of the cable to detach from the Zaptec charger and fall to the ground. This was the problem, the cable that was supposed to be permanently attached was not actually locked. I see in my pictures that it wasn't inserted all the way but in the dark it was impossible to tell. I re-plugged everything properly and now it worked with RFID. I reported this problem to Swisscharge so they can send someone to actually lock the cable, but haven't heard back from them yet.
