Visited on August 10 and charged without issue.
I had seen this location on Chargemap in the past but it didn't seem very reliable and I forgot about it https://fr.chargemap.com/park-charge-baden-dattwil.html
In the past, there were 2 ABB Terra 53 chargers here, with the left unit indicated for public charging, and the right one for employees.
A long time ago, before the DC chargers, there was an AC station, as visible in the September 2013 Google Street View images.
On the Google Street view images from September 2022 and June 2023 we see the Terra 53 chargers.
From the various pictures, it looks like the left (public) charger had an AC socket, while the right charger (employees) had an attached cable, possibly a 43kW AC.
There's a Google Maps contribution from July 2023 showing a sign published by ABB, saying that from 2022-11-26 the chargers would be employee-only and starting 2023 they might be available again and paid. This had not happened at the time of the comment, and I've never seen the Terra 53 chargers connected to Plug'n'roll or other payment platform.
There's another picture from February 2024 still showing the Terra 53 chargers, and it looks like the same sign is still attached to the top of the units.
I learned about the new A400 chargers from the Vision E Drive video. In their video they mention they were unable to get more than 200kW. I will not be able to independently test this as I don't have any vehicle capable of charging that fast. This power seems about right if the input was not upgraded compared to the previous Terra 53 chargers (about 165kW combined if they configured everything to the max). Would need to do some tests to see if it's 200kW shared between all cars or if they just limited the top power of each plug.
The earliest picture I can find of the A400 chargers is this May 2025 contribution on Google Maps https://maps.app.goo.gl/ATdfmYHqp8bCKezy8
On location, there is zero signage. The sign in the middle has been removed. Both chargers have working contactless readers, and don't seem to appear in any roaming app. The software version on both units seem to be different. The left one is the same I've seen at Pronto Charge and MOVE, while the right one seems to have a new version with slightly different UI.
The location is very conveniently placed, particularly when driving towards Zürich, as it's right at the highway exit. There are a few traffic lights still.
Both chargers are priced at 0.49/kWh, but the left one says in EUR, and the right one in CHF. I didn't try charging on the left charger to confirm if it's really in EUR or a typo. I'll go back to test at some point.
In the charge summary screen, it says "Operator: Unknown".
The transaction appears under the name "Vourity Switzerland". The reservation amount is 30CHF. At this time the final amount has not been taken from my card.
