This location had my attention today after the Tim's Traveller video on the rail replacement helicopter currently in operation for 2 weeks.
It's nice to see a page on the website describing the charging options but I suspect it might be out of date and also doesn't say how the non-Tesla charging works.
In my database I had written down 3 Tesla destination chargers, which must be the 2 outside and 1 inside Tesla spots as described by the website. But looking at Tesla's map today it only shows 2 connectors at this location.
There's a great report on GoingElectric about this location from July 2016. On those pictures we don't see any Tesla destination charger. There are 4 plugnroll chargers outside folllowed by 2 more spaces but with no charging station installed. I assume that's where the Tesla Destination chargers were/would be installed. The pictures from inside show a row of 6 strange red chargers. A picture of the spec sheet reads single phase 32A. The description on GoingElectric says those chargers are reserved for long stay customers, but not sure how exactly they are activated/paid.
A lot has probably happened since that 2016 report. I don't find any useful info on Google Maps or Chargemap, so I guess I'll have to go see for myself.
Since 2019, a new pair of plugnroll chargers have been added at this location. Based on the naming and position, I assume they have been installed at the 2 charging spots where we don't see any charger in the GoingElectric pictures. But that would mean there are no longer any Tesla destination chargers there. Maybe they are elsewhere in the outside parking, maybe they are inside or maybe they were removed completely and both Tesla map and the Braunwald website are out of date.
The plugnroll chargers visible in the 2016 picture are also different from those visible on Google Maps in a picture from october 2019. But in none of the Google Maps pictures can we see the full row of 6 spots and 3 charger units, so no way to confirm if there was any Tesla destination charger at that time.
Funny note, there is a closeup pictures of the chargers on the Braunwald website except it illustrates the parking page that doesn't say a thing about charging, while the charging page only is illustrated with a picture of a bike (in reference to the electric bike charging options I presume).
