Visited today and did a short charge with Swisscharge RFID.
The chargers are in P5, which is accessible 24/7. There are no gates, it's free. They are near the existing outdoor AC chargers, but not immediately to the side. Maybe they would have installed them there if there were was one more spot to use. I think the location for the DC chargers is a pretty good compromise in distance to the entrance. They are not the best spots, so they shouldn't attract as much ICEing as the placement for the AC chargers.
The setup is very similar to Lenzerheide. It has the same design flaw, by placing the posts on the line between parking spaces, if you take the plug to your right instead of to your left you end up blocking a spot, Supercharger-style (as pictured in the way I plugged my IONIQ).
The chargers have contactless readers but they are not yet active.
The screens indicate max 150kW 400V (as listed on Swisscharge), but also max 300kW 800V, which is very interesting! The cabinet for the 6 chargers seems to be configurable up to 400kW, so for an individual screen to say 300kW it means there is at least that much configured for the entire site. The sticker on the posts indicate 300A cable limit, so there must be some boost capability as it would otherwise only be 120kW at 400V and 240kW at 800V, or they are just abusing the labels and saying 500V is 400V and 1000V is 800V. I don't have a car powerful enough to check either voltage level unfortunately 😅
During my charging tests I was able to see all the possible limitation labels on the Kempower unit. It started by saying "Grid limits" at 20kW. Then it changed to "Charger max" as the power was ramping up, and finally at 63kW I reached "Vehicle limits". I guess the first 2 labels appear while the cabinet boots up, checks the network and start cooling the power modules.
