Visited today.

This location is visible in the MOVE since about 2 weeks ago, but all chargers are indicated out of service.

On location everything is already built and painted. There are signs on the chargers saying the station will open on 15.12.2024

There are 4 Hyperchargers HYC_400 and 8 charging spots. Each charger has stickers "up to 200kW", matching with the power indicated in MOVE app. Each charger has a contactless reader. Everything is turned off at the moment.

There is also CCTV like at their other freeway chargers.

Every time I drove by on the freeway I was taking a look for any sign of new chargers here, but nothing was visible from the freeway and I didn't actually stop any time recently, so I completely missed the fact chargers were being installed until I saw them in MOVE. They are conveniently completely hidden by the gas station to passers-by. Last time I drove by I was certain to have still seen the old EVite chargers, which have now been removed.

Visited today without charging. I wanted to take some pictures of the night ambiance.

Signs still say the opening will take place on December 15.

There's an EV arrow sign when the road forks between gas station and car park. I don't remember seeing it last time, but I could have missed it. It appears quite early after exiting the freeway.

The toilets are down the steps in the store. Paid, 1CHF. I have no idea if they are accessible 24/7. The shop is not open 24/7, so you couldn't access through it after it closes. But there's also a second door to the staircase which doesn't really seem indicated but maybe it's somehow accessible later? The sign for the opening hours of Migrolino makes no mention of toilets.

Visited on January 4 without charging.

The chargers are indeed in service. Contactless is working, 75ct/kWh, 50CHF reservation. No QR code for access to the 69ct/kWh price.

The connector IDs are not in sequential order. From left to right, 78, 79, 76. 77, 74, 75, 80, 81.

I already noticed the uneven ground on my last visits, but I didn't think of the danger they create in icy conditions. It was very dangerous to walk around the car to the charger as those holes get filled with ice.

They were really cheap with the parking spot width. That's just not wide enough for comfort... They should have left a gap in the middle of every group of 2 like IONITY.

Auf der Raststätte Kölliken Nord hat SOCAR die erste Schnellladesäule für E-LKWs an der Autobahn A1 eröffnet. Ein starkes Signal für die Zukunft des klimafreundlichen Strassengüterverkehrs.

E-LKWs laden hier mit bis zu 400 kW – schnell, effizient und emissionsfrei. Und auch E-PKWs sind bestens versorgt: Vier SOCAR Charge Express-Ladesäulen bieten bis zu 200 kW Ladeleistung.

Die neue Station ist Teil unseres Engagements für die Energiewende und die Mobilität von morgen. Weitere Standorte für E-LKWs sind bereits in Planung – wir treiben den Ausbau des Schnellladenetzes konsequent voran.

Visited on May 4 to see what the new charger was. At the time I had no idea that it was for trucks, though I did notice while there that someone had added a picture to the MOVE app. I could probably also have found some of the LinkedIn posts.

The new charger is indicated for bus and trucks per the signs on the floor. There are no official EV signage or any vertical signage at all. The branding on the charger says "eTruck" and 400kW. Based on all the stickers and marketing, it seems to be the actual first 400kW charger by SOCAR.

Nothing changed with the car chargers. It would be quite annoying if you have a car capable of charging at 200kW+ and have to stick to one of the car chargers, potentially even having to share power, while there's a 400kW charger at the same location that will probably sit unused a lot of the time.

The truck charger has a working contactless reader and it's the same price as for cars: 75ct/kWh. They didn't print the plug IDs on the charger, but they appear in the MOVE app and roaming, so there's probably nothing preventing other vehicles from charging there.

The picture of the charging graph is from one of the car chargers. I notice there's always a ₂₀-30kW limit at first at SOCAR locations, and only after a minute does it unlock more power. I see the same behavior at all freeway SOCAR chargers.

I also noticed while reviewing my pictures that it seems like they have already planned for expansion with the parking spaces to the left of the car chargers. The ground was dug and the curb re-done. I need to take a closer look next time.

Visited on July 6 and did a short charge with credit card, no issue.

As expected from the data, with the new numbering, 1 is the truck charger (the only 400kW charger).

What I couldn't confirm from the data was the order of the car chargers, as they are all identical. The numbers are assigned from right to left, but the letters A/B are always left/right, so when looking at the charger row, from left to right (opposite way of travel) the identifiers are 5A, 5B, 4A, 4B, 3A, 3B, 2A, 2B.

The numbers are printed on the top of the unit. The full identifier with the number and letter is above each plug holder.

Even though I am aware of the holes in the road and the big puddles of water, I still get caught each time, while trying to handle the bulky charging cable I always end up stepping back and into a puddle 😭

Lighting is ok. If only there was a roof...
