Visited yesterday and did a short charge without any issue.
I was not able to pay using Google Pay, but there must be an issue with my phone because it also did not work at Electra and McDonald's. I was able to pay with regular contactless. 65ct/kWh, appears on the card as "Evtec AG", 40CHF reservation.
I am a bit annoyed because I drove by here on September and took a look from the main road for any sign of charger. At the time I didn't see anything, but there might have already been foundations, they just happen to be in the one place that's not visible from the main road... Now that the charger and batteries are installed they are tall enough to be visible from the road.
The sign on the battery says the location operates as a micro-grid and that they did not have to increase the grid connection. So this must mean there could be power limitations at busy times. The grid connection power is unknown. The battery is 372kWh, with a peak discharge power of 186kW. Those are the specs on the battery stickers. I could not find a sticker on the inverter, so there might not be 180kW of output.
I'm surprised they didn't plan for at least a second charger. This might be unfeasible due to the grid connection, but that's not future-proof at all.
