Visited on Sunday and did a short charge with Swisscharge RFID. I was able to reach 50kW without issue.
I went searching for the charger in the blind, based only on the information in roaming apps. All you know from the roaming data is that it's networked through Partino, but there was no way to know the charger belongs to EW Rothrist.
They have a page on their website with pictures of the chargers https://www.ewrothrist.ch/de/dienstleistungen/elektrotankstelle/index.php where it's clearly stated that this charger along with the one in Vordemwald are public.
The page mentions a price of 65ct/kWh but I am not certain how you can get this price. The ad-hoc price and price in the "Easy Charging Quality" app suggested by the QR code and website both offer 70ct/kWh. There's a way to register an EW Rothrist customer account and order an RFID badge. Maybe this gives access to the reduced price.
The retirement home is at the end of a cul-de-sac, but there's actually a plot twist! They built a new road that gives a more direct access, but that new road is currently not on Google Maps or OpenStreetMap so my GPS didn't send me there. This means the road I went through is no longer a cul-de-sac as indicated by the sign 🤷♂️ If you arrive through the new road, there is an EV sign pointing this way.
There was a bug inside the left CCS connector and I was not able to get it out, so I used the other connector as I don't want to make a mess by squishing the bug...
