Visited on Sunday, February 9 and did a short charge with Swisscharge RFID.
I have seen older pictures of this charger on Chargemap and GoingElectric. Before the Allego charger there used to be a Nissan CHAdeMO charger here, and it was probably free to use.
The sign on the charger reminds customers that the garage was the first to offer a (fast?) charger in Region Thun in 2011.
The charger has CCS and CHAdeMO, with only 1 usable at a time. The parking spot in front of the unit is indicated reserved for charging.
These Tritium units have a button to toggle between 80%/100% limit. The default was 80%, I didn't touch it and the charge indeed stopped on its own at 80%.
On my pictures we can see the van to the right is plugged, but it's not actually plugged into the Allego station. They have an extension cord and a granny charger connected behind the unit.
There are also a bunch of very compact AC chargers under the canopy, but they don't appear to be public.
