Visited today without charging.
This location didn't have a picture on Swisscharge when I checked yesterday, but it seems like they just added one! The picture for Reichenbach had already been added, and we see they used the same hardware.
It's an E.ON Drive Booster, the first in Switzerland I believe. The spec sticker matches with the specs I see online. It's capable of 150kW per plug, 250kW total, meaning it's one of the fastest Agrola chargers as their regular 150kW units don't have additional capacity for 2 users.
It has in integrated battery, and the screen seems to list the state of charge. When I arrived, a Tesla had just unplugged. The left side showed 69% battery, the right side 99%. But I'm curious about the labelling, as it says "Battery A" both times. If there are 2 different SoC, wouldn't that mean there's a battery B?
I came back 12 minutes later and the SoC was 75%, so that would be about 30kW re-charging speed. The charger can accept at most 43kW input since it's designed for 63A grid connection. It does mean that if there's high demand and a queue, it can drop to just 25kW per connector once all the batteries are depleted.
The spec sheet online says the charger can operate off-grid. I wonder if that's enabled by default. That would be cool, as it would be the only fast charger capable of operating in a power outage. I don't think the Primeo chargers with ABB buffer batteries can do that. Maybe the Porsche chargers can do it, but they have half of the battery capacity of this. The sticker says 193.5kWh battery. On the online spec sheet it says it's gross capacity, so the actual usable capacity must be a bit lower.
There's a contactless reader installed, but it's not offered in the payment method options on the screen. There are QR codes above the plug holders for ad-hoc payment.
The advertisement screen above the charger is turned on, but only seems to show the promotional clip by E.ON for the charger itself. I wonder whether Agrola will put their own video there. I hope they do something, either that or turn it off to preserve energy.
The charger is in the Landi parking lot, you need to drive alongside the gas station and enter at the back. There are no gates, it will be accessible 24/7. I think you can exit the parking lot at the same place, or there's another exit-only lane in front of the gas station.
