Visited on Friday and did a few charging tests.
The station is in the parking of the hotel. I believe there are 2 access routes, through An der Reuss will work coming from any direction. But there's also a shortcut when coming from the village on the Hauptstrasse where you can enter a one-way street marked only for hotel guests, but I hope by extension IONITY customers can also enter there.
There are 2 Alpitronics (4 plugs) and 4 ABB (4 plugs), with foundations to install 4 additional ABB in the future.
All active parking spots are painted green. The other spots are white. There's already an EV sign above the white spots as well 🤷♂️
There are contactless readers on every stalls and all seem active. I first tried charging with contactless on the Alpitronic charger, but after reading the card it failed with message "Code: 99 Abgelehnt". The contactless readers don't work yet on the Alpitronics in Lyss and Oftringen so I suspect it's a general issue, but I'm surprised here the reader shows ready even though it doesn't work. I then tried contactless on an ABB unit and it worked without any issue.
I also noticed that the faulty contactless reader on the Alpitronic indicated a 40EUR reservation, but the working reader on the ABB correctly indicated 40CHF, which is indeed what was reserved on my card. It doesn't seem like the transaction has been finalized at the time of writing this comment, I still have the 40CHF hold on my card and no final price.
After scanning my card on the working reader, a QR code was displayed on the reader screen with the text "Quittung herunterladen" underneath, but it was only visible for a few seconds and I barely had time to take a picture, then it went back to the home screen. The QR wasn't unique though, it was just pointing to https://receipts.ionity.eu/ but it would have been useful to show it again at the end of the session and/or for a longer period of time. Writing the URL on the screen could also have been useful to indicate you can visit anytime. In fact, you have to visit later, my invoice isn't available yet, probably because the transaction is still pending.
The ABB chargers 1 and 2 are placed between 2 green spots. If you park on the Alpitronic side and use the ABB charger, you're blocking a spot. But it's not obvious that the ABB is meant for only the other side if you're not counting the plugs... If it's not busy it means you can drive a trailer through the green spots and still use the 350kW chargers, which is nice but will block 3 or 4 stalls depending on which plug you pick.
