Regular 2-user Shell Recharge fast charger.

Someone took the initiative to print a car charging tutorial for beginners and stick it above the screen. First time I see that at a Shell location. What I find ironic is that the tutorial explains various use cases at various speeds. But nowhere does it say what the power of the Shell charger in Thun is. I don't see the big 300kW billboard usually placed next to their chargers, and I don't think it says 300kW on the screen or stickers anywhere.

Among the pictures that rotate on the screens there are multiple ones in Italian explaining how to charge at "Atlante Energy", their Italian phone support number, complete with links to their site and suggestions to rate them on &Charge. I have no idea what their relationship is with Shell Recharge. Did they buy the charger from them and forgot to delete some of the pictures? 🤔

Visited yesterday without charging.

I was hoping to find the station free to make a picture of the empty state, but nope this time again it was occupied. And again by a foreign vehicle. My sample size isn't big but so far 3 out of 3 times the charger is occupied at 50% and it's never Swiss customers.

Visited on November 6, 2025 and charged with Shell Recharge RFID without issue.

The station had disappeared from the apps for a few days so I wanted to check out what was happening. It was back online that day, but as I suspected the downtime was because they were installing an additional charger!

The additional charger was not yet operational, but has since been activated.

The original left charger has mismatched CCS handles. I wonder how they ended up with that HPC connector, as it's not the model they usually install at their stations.
