Visited on July 23 and charged with Swisscharge RFID.
The chargers unhelpfully named "Steinweg 6-28, 3250 Lyss" on Swisscharge are in the public zone of the Lyssbachpark underground parking. There's a ton of signage, on the totem outside, next to the entrance, inside the ramp and then a lit sign on the ceiling at every turn.
I wonder how much the fancy lit signs cost, could well have been more than the charging station itself... It would have been perfectly fine with unlit signs, or they could have used the money to pull electricity up to a more visible area.
The actual placement of the chargers at level -3 isn't too bad. If you park at level -3, you have to drive the entire loop to exit again, so the fact the chargers are near the end of the loop don't make you drive more in total. And it ends up being very close to the elevator.
There are no gates, it's a parking meter. 1h free.
At some point the parking spaces were indicated on Swisscharge because I had written them down, but they are not shown anymore at this time. The numbers I had seem correct, the spaces are numbered right to left, but they did not re-paint the numbers on the charging spaces, so it wouldn't help to pick the connector in the app unless you do some math based on the numbers that follow. Easier to pick the station number in any case. The station numbers are a sequence, but were not assigned in sequence, so don't assume the order from that!
I wonder why the first 2 signs specifically say "Elektro-Ladestationen für Migros Kunden im 3.UG". There's nothing written at the chargers themselves. The parking is definitely for many more businesses than just Migros. Is it just a concise way to say it's meant for visitors? There's nothing saying you cannot park here for other reasons, just be mindful of the closing hours. Or it could be just to exclude Tertianum and Discountfix, who have their own reserved section of parking and therefore cannot use the chargers?
With holidays coming up, the parking will probably follow the same closing times as the store (picture of the special times posted in the elevator).
I didn't visit the main store, which seems to be at level -2. So people usually park at -2 and don't have to use the elevator at all. If you go up to EG you exit into the Migros restaurant.
The mysterious missing level -1 has a private parking.
I had no issue with cellular connectivity with Salt at level -3, there must be repeaters.
