Visited yesterday and successfully charged on CCS, though it seemed throttled to only 25kW.
I wanted to visit this location for a while, it's at the EVTEC headquarters and it's clearly more of an experimental charger, but also open to the public.
While the charger cabinet and cables are pretty old, I suspect there might be some modern stuff inside. It's in fact retro-fitted with their invisible contactless reader, which definitely didn't exist back when they first installed this charger.
The price with credit card is actually cheaper than with Swisscharge. It's 29ct/kWh for both, but Swisscharge has an additional 9ct/min. They reserve 80 CHF on the credit card which seems a bit excessive since the electricity is so cheap.
The advertised power is a bit confusing. On the charger it says "up to 180kW - world premiere", I'm not sure whether that sign is supposed to advertise the power of this particular unit, I know it's always been there ever since the espresso&charge was unveiled. In Swisscharge app it says up to 80kW. But in practice I had 25kW, and so was the leaf on CHAdeMO, so that was only 50kW total, maybe 6x10kW modules. So there should have been more power available. Maybe there's more power outside of business hours if they implemented load shedding.
First time around the area I could not find the entrance. Looking around the building at the ground floor wasn't helping, because their offices and the charger are in fact on the roof of one of the buildings. There's a big ramp in one corner that leads to the top. There's a sign with arrows pointing the directions of various businesses at the entrance of the industrial area but the arrow for EVTEC is a bit confusing. I think the immediate turn indicated on the sign might be for the foot entrance, where you can walk through the building and take the stairs. But further on there's the ramp, and halfway up on the railing for the ramp there's a sign saying EVTEC and also a car charging icon.
When I arrived there were 2 EVTEC vehicles charging. I might have been able to fit in between the 2 vehicles but it's a bit narrow. They saw me arrive and moved one of the cars to give me space.
There are also a bunch of sospeso&charge under the cover next to the public charger that charge their other company cars, and maybe power the building through V2G?
We can take a peek through the windows in their warehouse. There were a bunch of chargers stored in there. I saw one with the Migrol paint job.
