Finally visited for myself and charged successfully, but I was already at a high SoC so didn't charge very fast.

Something not visible in the press pictures from GOFAST is that there are actually 2 totems with the price display, one is right where the entrance is, but the other is visible when coming from the airport when you see the petrol+EV service sign.

There are signs saying we can reach the shopping area by foot by walking under the bridge.

All those taxis will need to find a new holding area if the station is expanded to the full 16 spots possible.

Contactless terminals are installed with a "coming soon" sticker.

Visited yesterday without charging.

I wanted to confirm which charger is which under the new IDs:

I also confirmed the contactless terminals are active and at 59ct/kWh, the same price as Swisscharge and the one advertised on the digital billboard at the entrance.

There's now a parking meter for the spots next to the charger. This is probably why it isn't full with taxis like last time I visited.

I got multiple reports of slow charging at this location on social media, but unfortunately I again wasn't at a right SoC to test for myself.

Visited today and did a brief charge to test.

Unfortunately I don't have any true fast charging car. I was plugged together with a Mercedes EQS taxi that was pulling ~130kW. I was pulling ~70kW with the Tesla Model S. Neither vehicle seemed limited by the charger, so that was at least 200kW combined output on one unit.

I didn't pay with contactless but the terminals were still active and still 59ct/kWh.

I had never used the walkway from the charger to the airport terminal, the walk is actually even shorter than I thought. It doesn't cross any road until the bus terminal, then the airport terminal is right on the other side of the bus stops.

There were again a lot of taxis, some occupying parking spaces under the canopy without charging. There were 6 vehicles parked though only 3 charging, one of them being a taxi and one being me.

There were also taxis on the road itself around the charger. I was wondering whether I would be able to pass them when leaving. It wasn't an issue, the roadway around the station is about 2 cars wide so it fits.

The parking spaces next to the charger (reserved for future expansion of the charging station) are marked 1h max with parkingpay identifier 8058:36. The price is not posted, but scanning the QR code with Twint shows 2 CHF up to ~15min, 3 CHF up to ~22min, 4CHF up to 30min and 5 CHF up to 1h.

On 2024-09-12, the CHAdeMO was removed from the online data. The CCS were updated to list 400kW. Both in GreenFlux API and on GOFAST website, so the 400kW must be an actual new power and not strange rounding of the theoretical 386kW of the EVTEC charger. The picture has not been updated though, and I didn't see any announcement. Did they replace charger Lara with an Hypercharger HYC_400?

Visited today and charged on Fabio, no problem.

All 8 spots were in use. At least one car (on the new 400kW charger) had finished charging (51 minutes on the clock) and no owner in sight. One of the chargers was showing out of service in the apps, it was someone charging using something that looked to me like a GB/T adapter and the EVTEC screen showed the error icon. I doubt they were still charging if the charger showed an error, but the owner was in the car and didn't seem bothered 🤷‍♂️ I didn't investigate further.

The new 400kW charger is an ABB TDC400, like in Oensingen. The contactless reader is covered by an "Ausser Betrieb" sticker. I was not able to check whether it offered free charging, like the one in Oensingen gave me in the evening. There is also a feedback QR code on the screen but I think the text is different, but maybe that's just because it's different in different languages, unfortunately I don't have any picture from both locations in the same language 😅 The QR leads to the same survey as in Oensingen. Here the minute counters seemed to work, both car charging showed their time.

I'm the one parking badly ahah. I really don't find this cable management very practical. It's of course better than short cables, but it's annoying to have to swing the arm above the car since you're so close to the unit, I don't want to bang the cable against the car. Since all other spots were occupied I couldn't pick one with the charge port right next to the unit, which leads to parking one way being awkward because you need to reach over the car to the other side, or park the other way and almost block the driver door...
