Visited on December 14 and did a short charge with my Fiat using the AVIA Volt app.
I checked the entire row, but there's nowhere you can park a non-Tesla with the charge port on the "wrong" side without blocking a spot. The only spot that could have worked is the one occupied by the self-serve demo car.
I wanted to try out the new AVIA Volt integration but had some issues. Turns out you need to plug in while the app says "your session is being started". If you wait you'll see "connecting to the charger" and then "this is taking a while", and at no point will it say to plug in.
I have no idea how congestion fees work, and not sure how I would be able to test this intentionally. The AVIA Volt app doesn't say how much it costs or how it works. The button to learn more redirects to Tesla website. So presumably the fee is the same without any added percent? I assume there are no push notifications to warn you of incoming fees.
During the charge, the AVIA Volt app wasn't able to show any information. No SoC, no power, no total energy. Big downgrade compared to the Tesla app which is able to show this information. I'll need to test V3 and V4 chargers to see if that's a V2 limitation.
I have yet to see any non-Tesla apart from myself charge at this location 🤣 There's still zero signage to welcome non-Teslas, but it is actually open in the app.
