There are comments on Chargemap from 2 years ago mentioning this location is no longer free and you must pay on location, but nobody mentions the price and there aren't any picture showing how it works. I assume it's a payment kiosk like at the few EVTEC locations that are not networked, or perhaps they used the built-in EVTEC screen with contactless.

The old pictures always showed an espresso&charge with one of each plug type. There are 3 parking spots in front of the charger, but just 1 painted green. The parking appears to be paid.

Unfortunately I have not yet been able to visit.

Visited today without charging.

The setup is still the same as seen on Chargemap all those years ago. EVTEC espresso&charge with one of each plug. 3 parking spots reachable from the charger, just one painted green.

The sign on the charger says the price is 49ct start fee and 69c/kWh, and that parking must be paid separately. It doesn't say how you pay for charging.

The charger has the built-in EVTEC contactless reader. The price also appears on the screen after you plug in, and you can use the RFID area to scan a contactless card. When selecting "RFID Karte" on the payment method screen it says "Nur für Glattwerk Mitarbeitende" so it must be somewhat networked for their internal use.

Because it used to be free and became paid not so long ago I guess it never used the EVTEC payment kiosk as seen in Luzern and Herrliberg, and went directly to the EVTEC integrated reader.

There is no mention of the maximum power anywhere. Chargemap used to say 60kW, but now says 100kW. All feedback (nothing new since 2022) that mentions power said 60kW and even then they were not able to reach it. So no idea where the 100kW comes from. I thought the spec sticker had peeled off but now that I review my pictures I see it's just covered by moss. I'll need to go back to clean it and take a look.

On Chargemap there's a picture of older charging prices, probably taken around 2022-10-26 that shows 49ct start fee and 55ct/kWh.

The station is now listed on eCarUp, but it doesn't seem to have roaming enabled. No idea whether contactless is still offered on location.

The power levels indicated on eCarUp don't make much sense. The 2 AC are identical, but that's typical for eCarUp. The description says connector 2 is a cable, so it must still be the 43kW AC. The CHAdeMO is listed as 150kW, which is impossible. The CCS is listed as 100kW, which could be possible but as it's the same unit as before, I'm going to keep it listed as 60kW for now until I get proof there is more power.

The eCarUp description reads "Parkgebühren separat", so the parking conditions must not have changed, parking is still paid.

Visited on May 4 and did a short charge on AC socket with eCarUp app.

Contactless is still available and the price has not changed since my last visit. The contactless price is the same for AC and DC, so compared to eCarUp there's the additional 49ct start fee on DC, but for AC it's a crazy price difference as it's just 36ct/kWh with eCarUp but 69ct/kWh+49ct via the reader.

I was unable to charge on the tethered AC. Just like many other EVTEC units with the cable, the station would not register that the cable is plugged in and there was no way to proceed. But it must be working sometimes, because there are sessions on both AC connectors in the live data.

It's not easy to use the charger in the dark... The parking isn't lit, and this area is even worse as it's in a corner.
