Tried to visit yesterday but the rest stop was closed.
The live data showed available, and there was even a recent charging session indicated at 08h that day, but it must have been a glitch. Looking at the historical data, the rest stop has likely been closed since 2025-08-21 because there aren't any other session.
The lack notification/signage for closed chargers is a bit disturbing. That's 2 rest stops with chargers in a row closed (GOFAST as well), so if you're short on electrons and think you can just continue to the next one you might end up in big trouble. At this point you should know that you need to exit at Liestal for a fast charger. Ideally there should even have been a sign at the Eggberg rest stop saying it would be the last fast charger on the freeway before Germany.
The new charger seems to be an ABB Terra 360, like most of the other replaced MOVE chargers.
