Visited 2 times on Sunday and did a short charge with Swisscharge RFID.
The new chargers are installed to the left/west of the existing chargers, making one single long row of chargers.
From left to right, the charger names are:
Judith
Severin
Bettina
Mike
Alice
Noah
Yvonne
Tim
Lisa
Roman
As previously seen on Linkedin, the chargers have the new EVTEC facelift, the new GOFAST blue skin and the Payter terminals. I thought the chargers might have still been the same underneath, but they aren't. Their manufacturing date of November 2022 on the sticker post-dates the installation of the original ristretto&charge. The serial numbers are also not the same as those I recorded in 2022. The charger model is still ristretto&charge but the "article number" is now 14220.1A instead of the previous 14220.0A. The older ristretto had a manufacturing date of July 2021.
The new chargers are the same configuration and have the same skin and contactless reader. Interestingly, they also have a manufacturing date of 2022, so GOFAST must have quite a stock of chargers hidden away. Migrol's EVTEC chargers have much more recent manufacturing dates.
The contactless readers seem to work, offering 59ct/kWh + 24ct/min after 60min.
On ChargeAssist and Swisscharge the chargers are listed as 384kW which is the theoretical maximum power for the ristretto&charge, but on location they printed 300kW on the charger
The reason the new chargers don't get as many sessions as the existing chargers is because the parking spots are not yet painted and reserved for charging. When I visited the parking was very close to full, so obviously every non-blue spot was occupied. It seems like a few people refrained from parking in front of the new chargers anyway, despite the lack of signs, so they must recognize there's something special here. When I came back at night it was much less busy but my shot was still ruined by a Tesla parked in front of the new chargers without charging 🤣
It looks there are currently 11 white parking spots painted in front of the new chargers, and they don't align with the stations, so it looks like the charging spots will be slightly larger when they repaint them to be 10 spaces.
I met a Tesla owner that told me the new chargers were not working yet. But when I came back at night I was able to charge the IONIQ on one of the new chargers without any issue. I assume they must have tried a few days ago when it was not yet working. I see sessions in the live data so it seems everything is good to go, just missing the paint and signs.
The toilets are paid, 1CHF/1EUR. I'm not sure what the opening hours are. I'm assuming the shops/bridge close at some point of the night, but at the entrances they only posted the opening hours of the most important stores, so maybe the bridge stays open and the toilets along with it?
