Visited yesterday without charging.
Like in Niederwangen, all GOFAST branding has been removed and it's now just an EWB+MOVE station.
There's a new hydrogen buffer "battery" installed next to the charger. Great way to use twice as much energy to power your car. Luckily the customer of the charging station doesn't have to pay for the inefficiencies of hydrogen conversion. But the MOVE price is higher than the old GOFAST price... coincidence? 🤫 I assume the battery was already there for some time when it was still GOFAST, and the MOVE price is the same across Switzerland, so it's unlikely the price has anything to do with the battery 🤣 Still, I'm sure old EV batteries would be much more cost effective than hydrogen.
The lighting under the roof didn't seem to work. I tried my best to trigger the sensor, and it seemed to click, but driving the car under the roof, waking around the charger and jumping below the sensor didn't achieve anything. I wasn't even sure whether the lights were still installed. I think they are LED strips and it's very hard to tell if that's a row of lights or just part of the structure of the roof.
The screen on the back of the charger seemed to be dead. It was black and pressing the buttons didn't turn it on. The front screen didn't show the back plugs, so there was no way to use the back plugs except by using the app. Perhaps if it was just the screen that died it was possible to start by RFID in the blind. By plugging first it would select the right plug, then scanning should automatically start. Stopping would be the tricky part, you would have to scan RFID again and then I think it's the rightmost button to stop the charge.
