Visited on November 30 without charging.

Contactless readers have been installed and are working. 75ct/kWh.

There are no MOVE QR codes, so you cannot access the cheaper 69ct/kWh ad-hoc price unless you use the QR links from my map.

They changed the bollards in front of the charger since my last visit.

Drove by on July 28. The rest stop was inaccessible. The exit was coned off, and so was the car/charger fork inside the rest stop as well.

Since yesterday, a new charger number 3 is visible at this location on IchTankeStrom.

Strangely, it's not visible in the MOVE app yet.

Just like in Schölfeld, they probably wrecked the numbering scheme. The new charger is probably to the right, first in driving order. So now in driving order you find 3, 1, 2. Great job!

Interesting how only the southbound rest stops get expansions. This is the third from SOCAR. I guess the Dutch and Germans skip Switzerland on their holiday return trips.

Visited on December 5.

I don't remember how I paid and I cannot find any receipt. I think I used Google Pay, and I have a picture of the terminal showing "Abort", but the charge did start and I guess I was never billed anything.

I confirmed that the new charger was installed to the right of the existing, and was branded as 400kW. It was also the only one with the cable management.

The 2 original chargers still showed some strange numbers. The left one (number 2) was offering 150kW CCS / 63kW CHAdeMO at idle, so it must indeed have 2 power modules. The middle charger (number 1) was offering 161kW at idle, and still 150kW while I was charging on the other CCS, so this suggests there might have been 3 power modules installed.

Contactless appeared operational on all units, but as said above I don't think I was actually billed.

Visited on February 1st without charging.

Didn't notice anything new, but was able to take daylight pictures.

Still the same 161kW / 150kW / 63kW advertised on the older charger screens. The HYC_400 has a newer software revision where this information isn't displayed. You just have to trust the sticker that 400kW are actually installed.

Visited on May 7 and charged on the new 400kW charger with credit card, no issue.

I wanted to check whether station 2 was truly out of service like shown in the app, and it was the case.

However I completely missed something much more important that stood out on my next visit. The old chargers were re-branded as 300kW, and the CHAdeMO had already been swapped with an additional CCS.

Actually, both CCS on charger 2 must have been swapped, because the left side had a short CCS and now it's a long CCS with cable management. While on the right, the CHAdeMO was swapped with a short CCS. Really curious why it was done that way, if they were going to swap both, why not use the long cable 2 times? 🤔

Based on the live data, it doesn't seem like the CHAdeMO was swapped before 2026-03-31, when the charger went out of service.

Drove by on July 5, didn't notice anything special.

The exit sign has been showing 6 spaces for a while already, I remember seeing it on a previous drive.

There has never been any EV sign at the fork between the truck and car sides at the entrance to the rest stop, but one would be welcome to clear up any possible confusion, as the chargers aren't really visible from that point unless nobody is parked on the rest stop.

Visited on July 12 and charged with Electra RFID, no issue.

On my last visit I missed the fact the CCS cables had been replaced and the chargers re-branded as 300kW, so I tried the new longer cable on charger 2.

Contactless didn't seem to work on units 2 and 1. But it was working on unit 3.

Unit 1 in the middle is still advertising 161kW on the screen. Now Unit 2 also shows the same mysterious 161kW. This seems to suggest there are at least 3 power modules / 225kW. But because of that information I'm skeptical 300kW is possible at all, be it for lack of power modules, or grid limit. Likewise while I assume all power modules are in the HYC_400 I would be surprised if 400kW can actually be reliably achieved.

AC on unit 2 is still there but was showing out of service. According to the live data, it's only out of service from time to time, and that included that Sunday afternoon. But nobody has charged on AC since unit 2 was brought back in service on or around 2026-05-20, so I think it might be broken even when the live data shows it available. If it's ever available when I visit I'll try to charge on it.

At this time, the metadata for the connectors doesn't seem to have been updated in the systems. MOVE and Swisscharge still show the CCS at 150kW, and 2B still as a CHAdeMO.
