Visited on April 3 but failed to charge.
The new "LKW" chargers are under the canopy with the LKW gas pumps. There's nothing really forbidding access to that area, except for the yellow line that separates it from the "normal" gas station. I didn't see a sign anywhere that says who can or cannot go there. Surely Agrola customers don't need a special authorization to use those pumps?
The chargers are i-light with 600A dispensers, like in Konolfingen. Here there are 3 PU300 cabinets, for a total of 900kW to split between the 2 dispensers with 50kW granularity.
I did not see any new buffer battery, so I wonder how they power this setup. If the same buffer batteries as the car charger are used, a truck charging will surely strangle the whole operation.
The first dispenser was showing out of service in the app, but was still on, cycling the display between "Fehler" and the credit card price. I tried scanning my RFID but it just showed an even bigger "Fehler" text with a red cross.
I tried the second dispenser which accepted by RFID authorization, but it then kicked me out of the session after the pre-charge, without any message. The contactless reader appeared to be working, but I didn't try paying that way, as they put a 250CHF reservation. Kind of makes sense for trucks, as long as it works on the first try. If the charge fails and you end up with 1000CHF blocked on your card after a few tries it could become problematic...
I was wondering if the failed session start could be because the charger is 800V-only. But in Konolfingen it's the exact same hardware and I was able to charge a 400V car. Being 800V-only would be quite restrictive even for trucks.
