Visited on April 19 and did a short charge with Shell Recharge RFID. My charge was limited to a perfect 110A, which seemed suspicious even though I wasn't expecting much more power at my high SoC.
The sticker for the left charger is wrong. It says the EVSEID is CH*SHE*E13770*2, when it's in fact CH*SHE*E13771*1.
This is the worst layout I've ever seen. Shell must have really gotten their best engineers on the case to make it as bad as possible to electric drivers.
In no particular order:
- The wheel stoppers are too far from the chargers, wasting a lot of space, and potentially making it impossible to plug some cars due to cable length.
- The hard space delimiters stick out too much from the gravel, I wouldn't want to drive over them (or rather, sideway along them) and risk damaging a wheel.
- There's no space past the last spot that can be used to revserse.
- There's barely any space in front of the spots to maneuver at all.
- There's not a clear limit to the end of the parking, so you might end up in the ditch if you drive too far forward.
The only positive about this terrible setup is that it's so far from everything that the risk of ICEing is low, but it shouldn't be needed because it's well sign posted.
