Visited on March 29 and did a short charge with M-CHARGE RFID, no issue.
The parking is accessible with no gate 24/7.
The Migros parking spaces are not completely free. It's 90min free, then quite expensive. There are cameras to enforce payment. But since the charging spots are on the back of the building and don't have parking space numbers, it's not clear if they are part of the paid area. It doesn't look like they have any camera on that side to send fines.
While I was there I thought it was the usual barrier-free system from Mobility Hub, but re-reading the parking signage now I see it's actually a different solution where you need to pay immediately on arrival. The text doesn't specify if you have to use the machine to validate the 90-minutes, like most parking meters do. Since they have cameras, I assume you don't have to validate the 90 minutes, since they will automatically know if you were above or below 90 minutes. You can access and leave the chargers without ever driving in front of the paid warnings.
If the charging spots ARE part of the paid parking, there might be an issue on Sunday and holidays, because the 90min free period doesn't exist and it's a mandatory 20CHF flat fee per day.
I notice that the payment via QR code actually requires the camera to have seen you first, otherwise it just says plate not found. Next time I'm there I guess I just need to try paying while parked on the charging spot, and I'll see whether that counts or not.
There is some renovation work that blocks part of the left charging spot. With the cable length it shouldn't be an issue.
What I don't understand is why they bothered adjusting the angle of the parking spaces when re-painting, and not take the opportunity to make them 90°. If you draw the exact same rectangle 90° I don't think it takes more space than the current implementation. Whether straight or angled, long vehicles will stick out anyway.
